Train your staff - tailored approach

If you are targeting a specific group or demographic, you may use a tailored approach to your Triple P rollout and training.

Using a tailored approach means you can select one or several Triple P courses that suit the needs of the families you are targeting. You could choose interventions for particular age groups or risk-categories, or interventions that use a delivery method most suitable for the practitioners and the families they see (for example,  seminar delivery or individual consultations).

This is simple because the Triple P System is multi-level, with each level tailoring information, advice and professional support to the needs of individual families. The system recognizes that parents have differing needs about the type, intensity and mode of assistance they may require. Triple P incorporates five levels of intervention of increasing strength for families with children aged birth to 12 and 12 to 16 years.
