Disaster Recovery Triple P Seminar - Extension

Extension Courses are only available if you’ve already completed the relevant pre-requisite (more details below).

INTERVENTION LEVEL: 2

COURSE BEST SUITS PROVIDERS WHO:

Already deliver either Level 2, 3, or 4 Triple P, and would like to deliver parenting information support presentations to a medium-to-large group of parents who have experienced a natural disaster. For example,

  • You already delivery Selected (Seminars) Triple P. After doing Extension Training option 1, you’ll be able to deliver Disaster Recovery Triple P Seminars.

OR

  • You already delivery Primary Care Triple P. After doing Extension Training option 2, you’ll be able to deliver Disaster Recovery Triple P Seminars.

DELIVERY MODE:

The seminar takes around 90 minutes to present, plus 30 minutes for question time and is delivered to parents with children or teens.

ESTIMATED TOTAL TIME FOR TRAINING & ACCREDITATION:

Extension Training option 1 (for practitioners previously trained in a Level 2 Triple P program) consists of a ½ day training.
 
Extension Training option 2 (for practitioners previously trained in a Level 3 or 4 Triple P program) consists of 1 day training, and accreditation, approximately 2 days total.

PRE-REQUISITES:

This is an extension training course; practitioners must have completed the Triple P Provider Training Course relevant to the Extension Training. We recommend you read the Pre-Registration Information and Terms & Conditions before registering for a course.
